I view psychotherapy, first and foremost, as a partnership between therapist and client. As a psychotherapist conducting a Fellowship at the Lakeview Center for Psychotherapy, one of my focuses is working with individuals who identify as members of the LGBTQAI+ community and/or are involved in non-traditional relationships.
The foundation of my work is psychodynamic psychotherapy. This means that all the factors and experiences that have led you to where you are now—both conscious and unconscious—are considered. Additionally, my approach is integrative, interweaving different modalities such as mindfulness-based practices and Dialectical Based Therapy (DBT) to address my clients' unique goals. My clinical interests also include helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, and spiritual concerns.
