can explore not just your struggles but also your capacity for growth and resilience. I am also not afraid to name differences and complexities in the room as a way to strengthen understanding and build trust.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in healthcare and social justice
spaces, including addiction recovery, food disparity, and patient advocacy. I bring that same
advocacy into the therapy room. My social work training has given me the tools to help clients
build support systems that affirm who they are and where they want to go.
My work is deeply informed by my lived experience as a queer person and sex educator. I have
worked with emerging adults and seniors, LGBTQ+ folks, neurodiverse individuals, those in
recovery, and people navigating alternative lifestyles or marginalized experiences. My approach
integrates a variety of modalities including Attachment Theory, ACT, Internal Family Systems,
Motivational Interviewing, and Strengths-based frameworks.
Together, we’ll explore what feels most meaningful and challenging for you, while I offer
practical tools and resources to help you navigate those moments both inside and outside of our
sessions. If you’re ready to take that step toward greater insight and support, I invite you to
reach out. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I accept BCBS, Aetna and United Healthcare PPO insurance. I also work on a sliding scale.
