I am a Devon based counsellor, with a Higher Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I work relationally with my clients, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the counselling process. This means that we explore thoughts, feelings and patterns together in a collaborative and supportive space. I support clients exploring questions of identity, belonging, and purpose. This includes emigrants, neurodiverse, chronically ill and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating the world in an increasingly difficult political climate.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches rather than following a single model, tailoring interventions to each client’s needs and preferences. For example, I will draw on attachment theory to help clients understand how early relationships and experiences may influence their current emotions, behaviours, and connections with others.
When appropriate, I provide gentle psychoeducation, explaining concepts, theories and strategies in a way that empowers clients to make sense of their experiences and develop practical tools for change. By combining relational insight with integrative techniques and evidence-based knowledge, my aim is to foster understanding, self-awareness, and stronger, more fulfilling relationships both inside and outside of therapy.
