Hi! I’m Tess. I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, I hold additional certifications as an international certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor (ICAADC) and a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). I identify as queer, use she/they pronouns, and am a member of the kink and ENM communities.
I believe my role as a therapist is just to show up in the way that works best for each client, but always as my authentic self underneath it all. I’m also a social justice therapist, which means I acknowledge and help you recognize the ways that the society you live in impacts your overall mental and emotional experiences. I am comfortable also integrating any spirituality you may have into the work we do, as I firmly believe mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, being outside as much as possible, hiking, reading, doing puzzles, cooking good food, and building Lego. I love freedom to be creative in many ways, and bring that creativity into the therapy space.
