My therapeutic style is feminist and integrative, rooted in the belief that many of our challenges are shaped by systems of bias, oppression, and marginalization. I actively work to decolonize therapy, recognizing traditional models often reflect a narrow, white, cisgender, heterosexual, Christian, male perspective that may not resonate with most lived experiences.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). I also incorporate elements of Positive Psychology and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on gratitude, mindfulness, and healthy communication. My goal is to empower each client—because you are the expert on yourself—and work collaboratively toward holistic well-being.
Outside of work I’m an animal lover with at least three furry friends in my home and volunteer with local rescue organizations to foster orphaned animals. Yes, I break for squirrels! Eco-consciousness is important to me, and I strive to reduce my carbon footprint whenever possible. Outside of work I’m a gamer (video and table-top), a LEGO builder, jigsaw puzzle struggler, a trivia night regular, and an eager traveler when I can swing it. I also practice what I encourage in therapy: prioritizing movement, eating clean, staying hydrated, and (usually) getting enough sleep.
