Jared (he/him) offers teletherapy as well as in-office appointments. He is a Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Resident who earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the California Psychological Association (CPA). Additionally, Jared is an active member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), and he is certified under the most recent Standards of Care (V8) for working with transgender clients. Jared is also an AASECT-certified sex therapist. Jared has experience with adults working with identity concerns, sexual dysfunction, and compulsive sexual behavior. Jared has previously worked in a community center, private practice, health psychology, and university counseling center settings. Jared emphasizes genuineness, empathy, and acceptance in his work with clients. He utilizes an integrative model of psychotherapy focused on integrating elements of existential-humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. Using this framework, he tailors treatment to the needs of each client.
