I offer anti-oppressive counseling for ALL marginalized populations, including but not limited to those marginalized due to: racism, sexism, classism, disablism, homophobia, biphobia, societal marginalization of poly and non-monogamous relationships and identities, transphobia, fatphobia, and of course kinkphobia. As an anti-oppression based counselor, I believe that YOU, the client, are the only expert on your own life. As your counselor, it is not my place to judge, but instead my job to walk with you on your current path. I have academic and clinical experience working with survivors of trauma and PTSD, with a focus on interpersonal violence including child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. I work primarily with individuals, but have experience and willingness to work with families. Initial hour-long consultation/introductory session is free. My rate is $90/full 60 minute hour, with limited need-based sliding scale slots. Sadly my current office is located in a building which is NOT accessible to those who are unable to manage steps/stairs. However, home visits are encouraged and welcomed for those with mobility concerns or anxiety/distress surrounding unfamiliar situations.
