I work from a sex-positive, poly-friendly, kink-knowledgeable, queer- and gender-affirmative perspective. My approach is warm, curious, and deeply interested in both your struggles and your strengths. I work with clients who wish to understand and shift their anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and relationship difficulties. I particularly enjoy working with clients who carry marginalized identities, including women; queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, and POC clients; and clients who identify as poly and/or kinky. Central to my approach is the belief that cultural and environmental factors play a critical role in our development. It's easy to collapse into believing that our problems are our fault, and that we alone are responsible for fixing them, even when we feel overwhelmed and confused about where to begin. Often, internalized oppression and stigma contribute to this confusion, anxiety, and shame. I offer a safe and supportive space for us to think and feel together in the places you find yourself stuck. In this way, we will help you develop a broader and more compassionate perspective on yourself and allow you to access a deeper sense of clarity, purpose, and connection. I look forward to helping you to envision and create the life you desire. MFT Registered Intern (IMF#87881); PCC Registered Intern (PCCI#2221); supervised by Elena Moser, LCSW (LCS#12014).
