I work with adult individuals and relationships (monogamous and ethically non-monogamous), seeking to improve their personal understanding of themselves and their connections, shift negative patterns and creative positive change, communicate more compassionately and effectively, and better cope with the uncertainties of life. I specialize in sexuality (identity, gender, ethical non-monogamy/polyamory, kink/BDSM, sexual dysfunctions, sexual pain, sexual incompatibilities, trauma),anxiety, depression, transitional struggles, self-esteem, vulnerability & shame, highly-sensitive people, and individuals with (orsupporting those with) chronic disabilities, illnesses and/or pain. My approach is trauma-informed, intersectional and authentic. I find value in multiple, different modalities that Ive studied and utilized over the years, so I approach each client with openness, curiosity, and desire to meet them where theyre at. My training and work experience as a sexuality educator, postpartum doula, and social worker also inform my approach. I highly value the use of humor, empathy, and mindfulness in psychotherapy. In addition, I firmly believe in the symbiotic relationship of the mind and body and intentionally work with all clients to help them better attune to this connection and identify tools that not only help them feel better but also thrive.
