I believe that my role as a therapist is to create a space where you feel supported, safe, and validated as we navigate challenges together. I will be there beside you as you gain the skills to shape your life the way you envision and work towards your goals. I think that everyone can benefit from therapy, whether it’s short-term to help you through a life transition or longer-term support, I will be here to help and accept you as you are.
I have experience working with clients who have been through trauma, are exploring their sexuality and/or gender identity, navigating substance abuse, experiencing grief or loss, and working through relationship challenges. As a kink and sexuality educator I am passionate about working with the BDSM community in an open and affirming manner. Many people who are members of the LGBTQ+, kink, or poly communities can feel stigmatized during therapy and I aim to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere for people of all kinds of relationships and identities.
In therapy we can explore the different ways your past experiences may impact your life, how you want to grow and develop, and effective ways to communicate and deepen your relationships. We can work together to navigate sexual challenges, compatibility with partners, develop tools to interrupt negative thought patterns, and much more. I am constantly exploring and expanding my knowledge so I can continue to be the best support system for you.
