Business Description
I believe we did not come here to suffer and die. We came for pleasure. I work collaboratively with my adult clients to help them have more pleasure and less struggle using an integrative, strengths-based approach.
- I have extensive training in sex therapy, including kink and LGBTQIA+, and I am a sex positive, affirming clinician. One highlight of my studies in sex therapy was to visit a dungeon in Sydney, Australia, and interview a sex worker there. It was through that experience that I learned that, in some ways, sex workers are not all that different from counselors!
- I am a cancer survivor, and I have both personal and professional training in the issues a cancer diagnosis can have on sexuality and body image.
- Many of my clients are deconstructing from fundamental religions, and healing the sexual issues which can arise in that process, as well as from the trauma of purity culture.
- I believe in health at every size. Every body deserves love, respect, peace with food, and joyful movement.
