Marie is a highly skilled resident therapist with a certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a somatic, image reprocessing therapy proven effective in treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias, and more. As a sex-positive therapist, Marie is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all clients, including those in polyamorous relationships.
With a Master's Degree in Special Education and over 25 years of experience working with children with emotional disabilities and neurodivergent individuals, Marie brings a deep understanding of educational and behavioral challenges to her practice. Her extensive background includes 20 years of experience in the correctional settings, where she has worked closely with law enforcement officers and incarcerated individuals. This experience has provided Marie with unique insights into the mental health impacts of such environments and the specific challenges faced by those within them.
Outside of her professional life, Marie enjoys connecting with nature, staying active through regular workouts, and immersing herself in a good book. She cherishes time spent with her three adult children and her loyal German Shepherd, Ellie.
