As a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, I work with individuals of all ages who experience anxiety, depression, and have difficulty with emotional regulation. I rely on a Person-Centered approach to build rapport with each unique client. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, by using Feminist Theory and a Trauma Informed Approach. Clients who typically connect with me tend to be neurodivergent, creative, and intelligent. I like to be a safe space to help client's learn to express and advocate for themselves. Western society has certain unrealistic, and oppressive ideals of what is considered normality. My mission is to help client's navigate a society that may not be catered to how they perceive the world. I bring a special blend of social advocacy, and empathy into my work. My personal and professional experiences provide me a unique perspective in counseling.
