I am a queer - kinky, bisexual, nonmonogamous - psychologist and sex therapist in practice since 1983. My entire career has been oriented towards therapy with all kinds of LGBTQ, sex, gender, and relationship diverse people. In addition to my clinical work, I do supervision and training in these aeas. I am well known as a teacher of LGBTQ/kink/CNM approaches and have published a book for therapists, The Modern Clinicians Guide to Working with LGBTQt+ Clients. I am very kink and CNM knowledgeable; I was one of the authors of the Kink Clinical Guidelines and curently am a member of the American Psychological Association Division 44 BDSM Task Force. My orientation is eclectic, but I have backgound training in psychodynamic, CBT, solution oriented and family systems therapy as well as post-doc training in sex therapy, hypnosis, EMDR, and ketamine assisted therapy, so I can help with a wide range of problems. I am seen as caring but direct and to-the- point; I give lots of feedback. I'm client and problem focused, and do a lot of short-term therapy as well as longer ongoing treatment. I work almost entirely virtually. I am not on insurance panels but can give insurance-reimbursable receipts for those with out of network benefits.
