The Leather Archives & Museum was founded by Chuck Renslow and Tony DeBlase in 1991 as a community archives, library, and museum of leather, kink, fetish, and BDSM history and culture.

The LA&M is located on the far north side of Chicago and is open to the public Thursday through Sunday. The library is free to access. Appointments may be made to access the archival collections and other material not on display.
