Many people who come to me experience feeling like they don’t quite fit into the world the way they’re meant to, like they’re going to get found out for not having everything figured out yet or like they’ve been pretending to be someone they’re not for so long that they’re not actually sure which parts are them anymore. I can help you become a happier, more fulfilled, more authentic you.
You may want to come to me to talk about struggles around sexuality, gender or relationships or you may want to talk to me about something else safe in the knowledge that I’m not going to try to pin your struggles down to an aspect of your identity that you’re perfectly comfortable with (as many people have reported in non-queer counselling) or have to waste your time explaining something queer to me.
I will take an intersectional and trauma informed approach to our work together. My other areas of expertise that may overlap (or not) with queerness/relationship diversity include working with autistic clients and people with eating disorders. I have also worked extensively with “supporters” so if someone you love has an eating disorder, is autistic, is queer or has a non-traditional relationship and you need some support to navigate that yourself please get in touch.
