I am a highly experienced UK mental health professional - qualifying as a mental health nurse in 1999 and since then gaining extensive experience in both primary and secondary care mental health settings, both inpatient and community based.
I qualified as a cognitive behavioural therapist (with BABCP accreditation) in 2009 and have practice in both NHS and private settings (currently private only).
I am also a senior lecturer in CBT at Canterbury Christ Church University.
I am able to work with a wide range of difficulties with anxiety as well as depression.
In terms of specific areas of interest, my research has been in the area of clinical supervision (I offer CBT supervision). I also welcome neurodivergent clients, (I myself am AuDHD) not to provide a diagnosis but rather to make sense of the impact of this for people in their lives, currently and/or historically (or perhaps to consider whether a diagnosis would be helpful to pursue).
I am a kink-aware therapist, with considerable knowledge and experience in this realm (in a UK context), across a range of consensual dynamics of different intensities. This includes, but is not limited to: D/s, S&M, play-only, TPE. I am familiar with key principles including SSC and RACK. My knowledge extends into the area of ethical non-monogamy. You can be confident of a safe space to explore your experiences without judgement.
