Lindsey Hennawi, LCSW, MPH (she/her) is a trauma therapist, consultant, trainer, and speaker. As a queer, mixed race woman of color, Lindsey is passionate about supporting folks who live at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities, and educating other folks who support them on best practices.
Lindsey has worked in a variety of settings supporting people with a range of concerns and experiences, but her specialty is trauma; she has dedicated my career to supporting survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, child abuse/neglect, and other forms of violence. Lindsey is thus experienced in treating conditions such as PTSD/CPTSD, depression, and anxiety, as well as other diagnoses. Lindsey's approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and supportive. She endeavors to create a space where you are safe to bring your full self and where your wisdom, resilience, and needs will be respected. Lindsey understands that there are myriad ways survivorship shapes how we feel, think, behave, and relate to others and ourselves, and she is honored to be trusted as a witness and partner in her clients' healing journeys, however those may unfold. Accordingly, Lindsey is fiercely committed to liberatory, anti-oppressive, client-centered, strengths-based, and abolitionist practice.
