Business Description Veronica (Vee) J. Newsom, LMFT (CA, WA, MT, OR, UT) is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow in private practice and a founding psychedelic therapist (KAP) at Innerwell. Originally from Hollywood, California, Vee holds a B.A. Anthropology from UCLA (Jun 2004) and a M.A. Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles (Sep 2008). Shadow Love Therapy provides virtual mental health services for creative and neurodiverse adults, couples/poly partners and/or mental health therapists residing in California, Washington, Montana, Oregon and Utah. Shadow Love Therapy is a practice devoted to the idea that deep analysis and loving acceptance of the shadow self can lead to integration and healing of the psyche. Through collaborative work with Vee, you can improve emotional regulation, communication skills, insight and confidence while discovering the path towards full acceptance of your authentic self.
Education/Training/Certifications Vee has specialized knowledge, training and interest in working with LGBTQIA+ artists/musicians, polyamory/ethical non-monogamists, sex workers and kink community members. Veronica graduated from UCLA (B.A. Anthropology) in Spring 2004 and from Antioch University LA (M.A. Clinical Psychology with Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy) in Fall 2008.

Initial telehealth consultation (30 minutes) is $75. (An initial consultation is not necessary to book a full session.) Individual therapy (60 minutes) is $150. Couples/polyamorous partners counseling (60 minutes) is $175. Family Therapy (60 minutes) is $175.
