Business Description
Therapy is a very personal journey and for many people it is vital that their therapist has direct knowledge as well as personal experience with the community they identify as being a member of. I welcome people facing a variety of challenges including stress, depression, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, and the general "stuck" feeling. Therapy is a collaborative process, together we can work on addressing the challenges you're facing.
I offer warmth, empathy and life experience. When we work together, you can be your authentic self, even if you don't know who that is yet. I'm a sex positive therapist that's worked with LGBTQ+, kink, polyamory, substance use challenges, anxiety and depression using a culturally-centered approach.
I have worked with some of Chicago’s most marginalized communities providing supportive services and also teach sex education classes in partnership with local non profits.
