I have come into work as a sex therapist with a reverence for sexual diversity and erotic intelligence. I am deeply rooted in my own personal journeys and explorations, as well as engagement with grassroots community organizing, academic theory and research, and ongoing clinical training. Where some therapeutic models might begin from an assumption of pathology, disease, and disorder, I find survival strength, resilience, and innate creativity at work even in the most challenging of experiences. Within the erotic is a life force that strives not just towards health but towards flourishing. I use modalities that cultivate the mind-body connection to help you explore what health and flourishing are for you.
Perhaps you are interested in exploring your gender, sexual orientation, or structures of your intimate relationships, challenges that occur in non-monogamous or kink relationships, or perhaps you need a gender and sexuality affirming space to discuss other aspects of your life. Perhaps you seek to explore sexual fantasy and desire, or are experiencing challenges in your sexual health. Perhaps you want to attend to the impacts of trauma. I specialize in working with trauma, consensual non-monogamy, kink and BDSM, sex work, intimate partnership grief, and compulsive sexual behavior. I am also situated in Queer, feminist, anti-racist, decolonizing, and liberation psychologies, and I cultivate culturally-attuned and socially-just relationships.
