I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (AR# A2005067) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling . I’ve worked in community mental health, hospital outpatient, residential treatment, and outpatient private practice settings.
I work with many issues including depression, self-harm behaviors, and anxiety. Predominately, though, I help clients toward healing after traumatic experiences. I am EMDR trained and recently began a three-year intensive program, Somatic Experiencing. I also utilize the Safe & Sound Protocol, a music therapy that is tremendously helpful for some clients. In order to work most effectively with individuals working to integrate traumatic stress, I continue to pursue trainings and education to provide research-based approaches in addition to talk therapy.
I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, levels of romantic/sexual interest, body shapes & sizes, and relational dynamics as well as ethnicities & spiritual beliefs in the fullness of who they are.
