Sophie is a sex-positive therapist and sexuality educator who is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, and specializes in work around sexuality, gender, and non-traditional relationships.
Sophie Pellegrini (she/her/hers), MSW, LMSW, is a Licensed Master of Social Work. She received her Master’s degree from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and her Bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Sophie is proud to be a queer and neurodivergent therapist and is passionate about providing affirming therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients and those exploring their identities. As a sex-positive sexuality educator, Sophie specializes in providing therapy for those interested in exploring their intimate relationships, sexuality, and sexual experience. Her practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, affirming of polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, kink-affirming, and sex-worker affirming. Sophie loves to work with open-minded folks who are seeking personal growth and reflection. Sophie’s approach to therapy is holistic, warm, trauma-informed, non-pathologizing, and relational. She aims to create a space in which clients can show up fully as themselves, and engages actively and collaboratively in sessions. She believes that understanding the impacts of oppressive systems, such as racism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia, and fat-phobia, is a critical part of the therapy process.
