Senna is a certified Trauma Informed Sexuality Educator and Sex Coach. With over 20 years in the kink community, Senna has educated and presented at several spaces and events. She currently sits on the Board of Directors at Studio Friction in Denver, Colorado. Senna is also the host of the Rated M for Mature podcast, a show where gaming and sex education collide.
Senna has been diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Complex PTSD. She takes mental health very seriously, and works on her issues with an amazing mental healthcare team on a regular basis. She is also part of a 15-year-long marriage where she and her husband continually navigate the unconventional. They co-parent two (now adult) kids who are openly LGBT+.
Senna's lack of early sexual education, combined with a unique and traumatic childhood, caused her to feel ashamed of sex, sexuality, and her own body. After years of mental healthcare (and lots of work on her own!) she has been able to embrace the unique combination of her faith, sex, sexuality, and all of the beauty that comes with it. She now helps others discover themselves through freedom in relationships, intimacy, exploring the world of kink, and healthy sexuality.
Senna's approach to education and coaching focuses on creative wellness and a healthy self image while utilizing SAMHSA's trauma-informed practices. Senna is known for a light-hearted approach to educating, giving folks a hands-on experience that's interactive and entertaining. Even when tackling tough topics, her sessions are designed to encourage interaction and surround attendees with support.
