Sam believes that each and every one of us is the expert of our own lives, but sometimes we feel overwhelmed and need guidance as we navigate life's challenges. This gets more challenging if you're an LGBTQ+ person in the south, but working with an affirming, competent therapist can make a big difference. As a member of the queer community, Sam understands first hand how important it is to work with a mental health provider who is not only affirming, but is also actively challenging the cisgender, heteronormative, and monogamous expectations of American society. For many clients living in the South, this approach is often a breath of fresh air.

Sam helps transgender folx and other members of the LGBTQ+ Community explore their identity, develop self-esteem, and improve their relationships. Her approach to therapy is queer competent, gender affirming, sex positive, kink aware, and ENM/poly-affirming. In addition to being a member of the queer community and a fellow ADHD-er, Sam considers herself to be an ally to those who are BIPOC, kinky, sex workers, and the vegan community. She strives to create a safe space for clients to explore their problems fully without fear of judgment.
