Business Excerpt
I am a Trauma-Informed Mental Health Educator and experienced, inclusive, Spiritual Director. My teaching style explores human behavior & Spiritual Theology through the lends of trauma, relationship dynamics, and Psychoeducation. My current research explores Human Interpersonal Relationships and Trauma Informed Spiritual Practice, through the lens of inclusive, affirmative spiritual practice. What that means is mental health and spiritual life are both important to me, and through the lenses of Psychology and Spiritual Theology, I try to help others discover ways to find meaning, contentment, and spiritual sustainability in life and in the diverse ways humans show up in relationship to themselves, as well as others in their world.

I studied English Literature at the University of South Carolina, completed a Masters degree in the Behavioral Sciences from Keiser University, post graduate certification in Geropsychology and post grad training in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University. I completed Post Graduate training in Rational Emotive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Training with Renaissance Life Therapies, and additional training in Clinical Trauma Support with the Arizona Trauma Institute. I also received a Certificate in Jungian Psychotherapy from the Zur Institute. I completed Reiki Master Certification in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing with the Reiki Institute of Atlanta. I have taught at local colleges & spiritual centers in Atlanta, GA for over 10 years, and completed Theology training at UAIC Seminary with the Universal Anglican Interspiritual Church & UWSI Seminary. In 2012 I was incardinated into the UAIC as an interspiritual priest & teacher. And in 2013, I received a DMin (professional Doctor of Ministry) from the UAIC seminary. In the Spring of 2015 I was inducted into Morehouse College’s Martin Luther King Jr. Collegium of Clergy & Scholars.
