I'm a Certified Somatic Therapist, which means I use a combination of talk, touch, and movement to work with you as a whole person - not just a brain, but a body, heart, and spirit. In this form of therapy, we use the body as a primary source of information and healing. By getting you in conversation with your body, I can help you to discover the habits that are holding you back, the stories you tell yourself that keep you stuck, and the pathway to different possibilities in your life.
As my practice has moved primarily online, I work with you to be in touch with your own body's signals, messages, and experiences. While understanding your story and having it heard is important, my focus tends to be more on hearing the body's story, in whatever language it expresses itself. In this way, I can help you become a translator of the deeper truth that lives in your physical self, down to your bones.
