Realistic Expectations, PLLC

Howdy! My name is Caroline (some friends call me Carol). I am a licensed therapist (License #110589) with Realistic Expectations, PLLC (REX) under the supervision of De'An Olson Roper, LCSW-S (License 23146) offering psychotherapy, coaching, and yoga services. My approach is holistic, client-centered, LGBTQ+ affirming, kink/poly knowledgeable, and trauma-informed. In addition to training with a therapy practice that emphasizes these values, I am also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and have completed their level one training.

I am passionate about queer perspectives, sexuality, gender-identity, and the mind-body connection. To complement my Western instruction, I also enjoy studying many Eastern teachings, such as: hatha yoga & Ayurveda, Tibetan Buddhism and meditation, Usui Reiki energy healing, and Chinese Qi-gong. While I have completed by graduate-level instruction, I like to believe that I will remain a student all through my lifetime.

Throughout our professional relationship, my overarching goal is for the both of us to learn together. Approaching each session with curiosity and an open mind, let’s learn about your life experiences, your unique strengths, and how we can work together to meet your goals.
