Whole Self Doula is a full-spectrum doula practice which provides loving support to pregnant individuals and their families in Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Westchester County, NY, founded on the idea that the best birth experiences happen when people bring their whole selves into the birthing room. I am especially drawn to support people who may fall through the cracks of the medical system or otherwise feel unheard through the process of medical birth -- younger and older parents, single parents, LGBT, genderqueer and GNC parents, people making adoption plans, and people experiencing stillbirth or fetal loss. I also specialize in supporting alternative parents who want to feel comfortable with a professional with whom they can share their family dynamics openly, such as polyamorous families and people in power-dynamic relationships. I can serve clients with household incomes under $30K at no cost under the auspices of the Doula Project (www.doulaproject.org). Postpartum and lactation services also available.

I am a kink-knowledgeable, trauma informed, LGBTQAI+ and polyamory friendly Marriage and Family Therapist in the Buffalo area. I am experienced in treating individuals, couples, families, and many forms of polyamory. I am well-versed in treating sexual dysfunction, infidelity, navigating life transitions, resolving trauma, and aiding communication breakdowns. Helping people better understand their needs and communicate them in healthy and succinct ways brings me great joy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State.

I have received my Master's in Social Work with a specialty in Mental Health and Military Social Work from the University of Southern California. I also received a Doctorate in Social Work from USC as well. I have been a social worker since 2013 and have worked with various populations including children, veterans, families and incarcerated people. My approach to therapy is to guide you in identifying the root cause of the feelings and symptoms you are currently experiencing. By identifying this, we will work together on thought processes and behaviors that are keeping you “stuck.” With the root cause identified, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques in order to adapt, change or develop new coping skills and thoughts. I believe that transformation is a collaborative process. My hope is that I can help guide you to identify and meet your goals. In my practice, I welcome all ideas, opinions and lifestyles. I am kink and poly friendly. I want you to feel open and comfortable discussing any topic you may want to work on. I believe that “keeping it real” in session is important. I believe in incorporating sensory tools as well as religious and cultural tools as appropriate. Each relationship should be tailored to meet your specific needs. I am a kink and lifestyle knowledgable practitioner of Reiki, life coaching, chakra balancing, Tarot reading, and more in the Central New York region. Many of my services can also be done by phone, video chat, and/or email, so distance appointments are possible! After suffering the worst trauma of my life, I went on a spiritual journey and found some new talents. Being a community leader, I heard from many of my friends that there was a struggle to find kink and poly friendly providers in the area, and suddenly I found my true calling. Pulling from my newly grown intuitive skills, my recently acquired Reiki certification, my educational background in psychology, and my work experience in counseling and also in the law, I decided to begin a practice providing a variety of services to both those in and out of the lifestyle, but with an emphasis on my lifestyle knowledge and experience.
