I am a graduate of Michigan State University with more than 25 years of social work experience at the Master's level. I have recently begun a part time private practice. I have spent the majority of my practice in the medical or mental health field. I am experienced with mood disorders as well as bipolar and schizophrenia. I have worked with persons overcoming serious illness, grief and loss. I have trained in the field of trauma. I am comfortable in working with persons of all ages and gender, meeting a client where they are at and helping each individual find the place and time to recover is my primary focus. I bring skills in the areas of communication, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution focused therapy and some Dialectical Behavioral treatment activities. A client can expect from me a plan that will include communication and expectation as well as respect for the clients supports and strengths. As a therapist I expect client to bring honesty and willingness to help me understand what is and isn't working for them. Financing is through the insurance I accept (which is still being negotiated) and private pay.

I am a kink-and-poly-knowledgeable therapist and social worker. I provide individual and relationship therapy from a non-pathologizing, trauma-informed lens. My approach is anti-colonial and anti-racist.
