Beneath the Surface Therapy offers private-pay EMDR intensives, educational workshops, and professional consultation. Insurance is not accepted or billed for these services. The practice focuses on intensive psychotherapy rather than ongoing weekly sessions. Individual EMDR intensive-block fees are $675 for 3 hours and $1,125 for 5 hours. Credit and debit card payments for psychotherapy are processed through SimplePractice. Zelle is also available by prior arrangement. The treatment plan, preparation and follow-up arrangements, total fees, and payment terms are confirmed before booking. More Than a Safeword is a separately priced educational workshop, not psychotherapy. Workshop fees and payment instructions are provided before registration. Private couples intensives may be considered after both partners complete the live online Foundations workshop and are arranged directly with Jillian following a separate clinical fit process, agreement, and fee. Workshop participation does not include or guarantee subsequent clinical services.
Awareness Notes Kink — Knowledgeable: I provide affirming, non-pathologizing psychotherapy for adults and relationship systems involved in BDSM, kink, fetish, and consensual power exchange. My clinical knowledge includes Dominant/submissive dynamics; power exchange; negotiation; informed, ongoing, and reversible consent; boundaries and limits; safewords and nonverbal stop signals; sensory and nervous-system responses; attachment; shame; trauma; aftercare; and rupture and repair. I understand that consensual kink is not inherently pathological and do not presume that kink interests or identities originate in trauma. I distinguish consensual power exchange from coercion, abuse, or interpersonal violence by assessing choice, capacity, context, impact, and the ability to pause or withdraw consent. My role remains within the scope of psychotherapy, including assessment, preparation, trauma processing, relational work, and integration. I do not facilitate physical scenes, provide technical instruction for kink activities, or offer professional BDSM services. Poly — Aware: I have specific clinical knowledge of polyamory, consensual nonmonogamy, and multi-partner relationship systems.
