I am a NY telehealth somatic and parts-work trauma and couples therapist. I specialize in working with folks who are: childhood and adulthood trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM-involved, polyamorous and non-monogamous, neurodiverse, chronically ill and in pain, disabled, and impacted by fatphobia. I also offer training and consulting on my specializations.

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in Manhattan. Im a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). I have worked for more than seven years as a sexual health educator and provided individual counseling on sexual health issues to clients at The LGBT Community Center in Manhattan. Growing up in the subculture of punk, I learned at a young age the importance of honoring our sexual being in order to embrace our full body and mind health. I believe strongly in feminism, sexual empowerment, sex positivity (the idea that any and all consensual sexual acts are healthy and positive) and LGBTQ equality. I will work with you wherever you are at in your life and customize my clinical techniques to meet your needs. Together we will explore and embrace whatever challenges there may be in order to increase the quality of your life and forge a new path.

Special interests include: Unpacking attachment wounds using IFS; Transition stages in Poly/ENM; Freedom from shame regarding sex & kink; Impacts of disability; Relationships to health, disordered eating, and/or fatness from a fat liberatory and body neutrality lens.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York state interesting in working with individuals struggling with sexually compulsive behaviors. I am sex-positive and kink-affirmative; for me, healing is not about completely cutting out particular behaviors as much as cultivating awareness of what emotions/thoughts drive the feeling of being out of control. By learning and adopting strategies to cope with threatening feelings, I believe one can still have a fulfilling and exciting sex life without feeling like one is in the throes of addiction.

I have had the unconventional path of growing as a child of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I switched from a Cornell Tech PhD to pursue the deeply meaningful work of living our all too human lives. I currently work as a Mental Health Counselor with Good Therapy NYC, a practice based in Brooklyn.

I offer trans-affirming, poly/kink-positive, sex worker-friendly psychotherapy in person in Brooklyn, NY, or via telehealth. I frequently work with adults and adolescents; transgender and non-binary people; performing and creative artists; people living with chronic illness & chronic pain; people with a history of trauma or loss in their families of origin; members of poly and kink communities; sex workers; and people experiencing depression, anxiety, and difficulty tolerating strong emotions.The polyamorousand monogamous partnersI work with are motivated to develop greater closeness and vulnerability and to make their relationships more fulfilling and satisfying for all parties.
