PSYCHOTHERAPY RATES Individual, Family, Couples & Group Psychotherapy rates vary depending on the therapist. For an exact rate, please inquire for clarification. For individual psychotherapy, to see a certified or licensed clinician, our out-of-pocket sliding scale ranges from $120 to $180 per session. To see one of our Master’s or Doctorate level interns, the range is $80 – $100 per session. Our psychiatric services, as well as our ADHD evaluations, range between $150 and $200 per session. We offer psychotherapy and psychoeducation group options between $30 and $50 per session. PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE SOMATIC THERAPY RATES Rates depend on the type of service ranging from $30 to $150 per individual session or group session. Please inquire with individual practitioners for clarification, as rates vary depending on services. INSURANCE The Mind Body Co-op currently accepts: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, BCBS Choice, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana. We are willing to submit billing to your insurance carrier for out-of-network benefits. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for psychotherapy services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services or fill out our Insurance Verification Form and we will verify if your insurance covers services at Mind Body Co-op. As a courtesy, we do NOT collect copayments or deductibles prior to or at the time of service. Our billing practice is to submit claims to your insurance for your sessions and once we receive the explanation of benefits (EOB) showing your responsibility (co-payments, deductibles, etc), we then send you a statement showing your balance and then charge the credit card we have on file for your balance due. PLEASE NOTE: Your insurer won’t pay anything if you haven’t yet met your deductible. You will be required to pay the contracted rate and that will be credited towards your deductible. If you have met your deductible, your insurer will pay their share after you’ve paid your copay. SELF-PAY & SLIDING SCALE Self-pay protects your confidentiality and allows you to make your own decisions about treatment – not having to rely on insurance coverage and sometimes complex networks. We also understand that many individuals, couples, and families have a myriad of financial commitments and believe in affordable access to mental health care. Our sliding scale rates are as follows and these amounts will be charged on your credit card at the time of service: Nurse Practitioner (Medication Management) – $175 per session Doctorate Level Clinicians – $150 per session Master’s Level Clinicians – $130 per session Provisionally Licensed Clinicians – $100 per session Group Therapy – $30 per session PAYMENT We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment and direct payments through Venmo.

As an LPC Associate, I cannot personally work with insurance companies; I wouldn’t if I could anyway. I say this because most insurance companies want to control what your therapy involves, when, how often, and when it ends – regardless of your needs; I would rather YOU be in control of your therapy. Most insurance companies do not cover marriage therapy anyway. Even though I am considered out-of-network, you can still feel free to reach out to your provider to see if you qualify for reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses. I am happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company if you would like to seek reimbursement. If you use HSA or FSA, you can reach out to them so see if they cover couples therapy as well. Lastly, there have been clients that were able to deduct their therapy expense as an out-of-pocket medical expense; so, reach out to your tax advisor or accountant to determine your eligibility.
