Melissa is also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Supervisor a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. She is working towards her PhD in Clinical Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology. Melissa is certified in EDMR.

Her background includes community mental health, mobile crisis, and addiction recovery. She has worked at County Outpatient Clinics, a Veterans Service Organization, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Residential Treatment.

Nishita Rao is a Behavioral Neuroscience Consultant, a certified Sex Work-affirming Care Provider (ECC), an Interdisciplinary Sex Researcher, Reiki Grandmaster and a Certified Sex Educator, leading multiple Pillow Talk With Nixi initiatives.
